Photo Competition Rules
TERMS OF USE
Rules and Conditions of Entry
General
1. The competition is open to anyone
2. Entry is free
3. You may enter up to 5 images. This can be as a body of work, or individual images
4. Images must be the sole work of the entrant
5. Images may be manipulated
6. We reserve the right to exclude any images which, in our opinion, are likely to cause significant offence
Selection
7. The competition will close for judging at midnight China time at the advertised date
8. Our guides will select the winners
9. No individual assessments or critiques are available and the guiding teams decision is final
10. The winning images and selected short-listed images will be displayed online shortly after the closing date
11. A selection of images from the winners and final shortlists may be used in our marketing and content. This may include, but is not limited to use on our website, email marketing and social media channels as well as all forms of offline media
12. Photographers must be able to supply high res files if required
Prizes
13. Small prizes will be offered to the winner as defined on the competition page.
14. There will be no cash alternatives, returns or refunds related to the prize.
Personal Data
15. We may hold and process personal information which you are supplying, in relation to our business or the competition
16. Our company or staff will not pass on your email address or personal data to any third party without your permission
Copyright & Reproduction
17. The images entered into the competition must not infringe any copyright or other intellectual property right of any third party
18. If the copyright of or other intellectual property rights of any third party have been infringed, then the entrant will indemnify our company in respect of any of these third party claims and return the cash value of the prize
19. The copyright of all entries remains with the photographers
20. The photographer will be credited where practically possible, some things like a video production we would not credit that image within the video
21. We reserve the right to reproduce, without payment, any images for publicity and promotion purposes in connection with the competition and our company activities, including our website for up to five years from 31 December 2013
22. Submission of any entry implies your full acceptance of the Rules and Conditions of Entry and all terms and conditions on our website
